On Tuesday in Spokane County Superior Court, Nadine Woodward filed an age and sex discrimination lawsuit against BELO owned KREM 2. Woodward anchored the evening newscasts at KREM for 19 years until her contact was not renewed in September 2009. In the Spokesman Review article that announced the filing of the lawsuit, it was announced that Nadine will join KXLY in mid March. The article says that Nadine had come to a deal to anchor the morning news on the radio and report special projects for KXLY 4 HD News in February. But, when KREM threatened to sue Ms. Woodward to enforce her 6 month non-compete clause, Woodward turned down those positions. It's unlear what Nadine will do when she joins channel 4 next month.
