Who will gain the most from the retirement of Daytime Queen Oprah Winfrey? Will KREM 2 maintain their dominance at 5pm without Winfrey as their lead in? In September channel 2 will move the Dr. Oz Show to Winfrey's 4pm time slot. To maximize on the opportunity KHQ is moving Ellen to 3pm in the fall. KXLY will air The Nate Berkus Show, a Harpo production in the 4pm slot this fall. Katie Couric's new syndicated show will take its place in the fall of 2012. This also gives the stations time to experiment with programming leading into the local news. Will Oprah's departure end KREM's reign at 5pm? Will KHQ finally pull ahead of the once mighty two? Will KXLY gain traction with new programming and a new lead anchor? What do you think?
